Netpoint
The netpoint is an internet point and cybercafe gnu/linux gtk client.
It is gtk1.2 based and needs a web server to deal with, download it at netpoint.sf.net.
The
webserver will receive every 10 seconds the code wrote by the customer
on the netpoint window and the mac address of the active network card
placed on the client computer, the webserver should reply to the
client with the number of seconds of the selected code -10.
Demo
The best netpoint performance is in association with ubuntu, if you would like to try a precompiled version,
please download the last version of ubuntu from official site install it as you like but choose netpoint as username when ubuntu installation asks for a username.
When you finish to install ubuntu start firefox, go to http://netpoint.eja.it/netpoint.deb, allow firefox to install it, give the administrator password (same as netpoint user) and when it is ready reboot the computer.
The precompiled version uses by default the eja.it server, if your computer mac address is not registered on our server any code you will write will have 123 seconds in loop.
